An excellent post. I was living in NYC when that horrific rape and beating took place and "Central Park Five" were arrested and pled guilty. The Felon was a con man then, and he's a con man now. He enjoys stoking hatred of "the other", just like his "christian" supporters.

What he did to those young men was one of his most blatant displays of racism, and he did it with zero consequences. His entire life has been nothing but hate and manipulation. He's a sick man and the world will eventually be very well rid of him and those who enjoyed and profited from his ugliness.

They’re really hitting on the Black Brute stereotype( https://rue1b225.substack.com/p/the-black-brute?r=1x7pap&utm_medium=ios).

Especially with their silence on the murder of the other refugee.

Just like when it comes to issues like mental health. They’ll put on a show but be no where around for the work or worse undermining it further. Until it’s their problem. 😒

Excellent and spot on Terrell. The parallels between white supremacy and russian supremacy could not be clearer. Which is why it is doubly disappointing when any Ukrainian in the USA or abroad allows trumps exploitation go unchallenged and in some cases amplified.

I come from the Deep South and was born in a town where the KKK originated, so I’m very familiar with this script.

What is distressful to me is to see these old ignorant tropes be reborn. But it’s not just Trump. There is a direct line between Putin / Russia and their troll and bot farms and the rise of white nationalism in places like Tennessee.

And don’t expect a gop politician from there to speak out against this cancer, as they are just as happy to exploit these divisions as Trump and Putin. Not coincidentally they vote against aid for Ukriane every single time. Yet some Tennessee based Ukrainians happily give them a pass and lick their boots. Essentially the same boots worn as Putin.
